Nautilus is very excited to announce the release of our debut album! We have worked tirelessly from the near 2 years of song-writing and 3 months of recording, mixing and mastering to make sure that this album is the best album it could possibly be. We wanted to make an album that perfectly represents us as a band musically and emotionally and showcase everything that we stand for.

Nautilus is an album full of dynamic contrast, not just from loud to soft and fast to slow, but emotionally as well. We wanted to create epic songs that didn't just express one emotion per song, but a range of emotions. We did all this in mind by making sure that each song made sense musically and had a great sense of flow and momentum between sections. As the album is instrumental from start to finish, it was crucial for us to keep the album interesting and engaging from start to finish. Our philosophy with this band is to make the listener feel the emotions in these songs and for them to be able to paint a picture in the listener's mind without them directly being told what or how they should be feeling. It's all up for interpretation and imagination and we're really excited to hear what kind of atmosphere, mood and images that these songs paint in your mind.

We wanted to thank Lachy from Depict Studios for his amazing work recording, mixing and mastering this album. He did an amazing job putting all the pieces together to help us create the album that was in our minds and we couldn't be happier with the end result. Also a big thank you to our friend Loag for creating the album art for the album and putting a picture to the music that fits like a perfect puzzle piece. We are super happy with this album and we hope that you love it too!
